At May’s Jewelers, we want you to feel confident in your purchase. If for any reason you are not completely satisfied, we offer returns on eligible items.
In Store: You have 10 days to return your purchase for any reason. You must return the item with the original sales invoice. If the purchased item came with GIA, IGI, or other certification, the original certificate must accompany the return. Returned items must be in their original condition and unworn. No refunds are given for jewelry that has been worn, altered, or damaged. Returns will be processed to the original form of payment after an inspection period of 21 days for us to verify the item. We charge a 3% restocking fee for returns of items purchased by credit card or Venmo.
Special Orders and Custom Designs: Since special orders and custom designs are made specifically for each client, they are not covered by our refund policy. All sales are final.
Online: We understand it is a difficult decision to make a purchase online without having first seen the piece in person, so we offer a 5 day return period to return your purchase for any reason. Please contact us to alert us of your return. We will email you a prepaid return FedEx label. The 5 day return period starts the day you receive your order, and returns must be shipped by the 5th day. We charge a 5% restocking fee for returns of items purchased by credit card or Venmo, and we cannot refund shipping & handling charges. You must return the item with the original sales invoice. If the purchased item came with GIA, IGI, or other certification, the original certificate must accompany the return. Returned items must be in their original condition and unworn. No refunds are given for jewelry that has been worn, altered, or damaged. We will only accept items for return that are in the same condition as when they were shipped. If you notice any problems with the piece upon arrival, please call us right away. Returns will be processed to the original form of payment after an inspection period of 21 days for us to verify the item. Please contact us at 415-255-1151 to arrange for your return. Please package the jewelry securely so it does not move around in transit. Use a medium FedEx priority box if available and tape the outer flaps of the box for security purposes. When dropping off the return with FedEx, you must obtain a receipt from FedEx. Once the item is received, we will check the condition of the item within 21 days and issue a refund, less a 5% restocking fee and shipping & handling charges. At this time, we do not accept exchanges. If you wish to purchase a different item, we recommend initiating a return and placing a new order.
